#PassItOn Celebrate UK Coaching Week with a fantastic eLearning deal

It’s UK Coaching Week! UK Coaching’s annual event that celebrates the amazing work of coaches like you!

Coaches shape lives.

It can build confidence, ignite passion, unlock potential and so much more – in both sport and physical activity and in life.

This year’s theme, ‘Pass It On: The Power of Great Coaching Advice’, celebrates how a single piece of coaching advice can change a life. To join in the celebration and thank you for sharing your expertise, we're thrilled to offer Instructors, Coaches, and Leaders a special deal on two valuable eLearning courses: the Personal Performance Awards eLearning and the Paddle Safer eLearning.

For one week only, you can get both eLearnings for just £15!

  • The Personal Performance Awards eLearning is designed to support Providers with the delivery of the Paddle Awards and the Personal Performance Awards. The activities will give a range of information about how Providers can support paddlers and all the information they need to know about the awards.
  • The Paddle Safer eLearning supports you to deliver the 2 hour Paddle Safer, which gives new and novice paddlers the opportunity to develop their safety skills when taking to the water.

This is a great opportunity to be able to deliver a range of awards for your learners.

Don’t miss out! Visit the eLearning shop, add both eLearning packages to your basket, and enter BECOMEAPROVIDER  at checkout. Offer ends on 8th June.

We recognise your commitment, dedication and support, and are pleased to offer a range of packages with 100% discount for members, to support your development and commitment all year round.

  • Develop your Coaching Craft eLearning - This is designed to enable coaches to better assess their current performance and develop their coaching practices, including observing and planning coaching sessions, as well as delivering and reviewing sessions.
  • Developer eLearning - This resource is aimed at anyone who supports the development of paddlesport coaches, instructors and leaders. Supporting others to develop requires a variety of skills, experience and knowledge; this eLearning course focuses on how a Coach Developer can help in a Coach’s development, understanding and practice.

Don’t forget to check out the full range of eLearning packages. Members can get £370 discount on our eLearning packages, all year round! This includes 100% discount on over 10 packages, so members can access these for FREE! #PassItOn

Paddle NI’s Participation and Development Officer, Mark, travelled to Iceland after being invited to coach at the Iceland Sea Kayak Symposium, an event that brings together sea kayakers and coaches from across the world. The invitation reflects Mark’s growing expertise and the work he does to support paddlers and clubs here in Northern Ireland. Sea kayaking continues to be one of the most popular areas within our progressive paddles programme and opportunities like this help us keep our development work aligned with the highest coaching standards. The symposium focuses on sharing best practice, developing coaching approaches, and building the skills needed for safe paddling in moderate and advanced water environments, all of which directly supports our club work, leadership development and participation programmes. Paddle NI Head of Operations Rodger Hamilton said, “We encouraged and supported Mark to attend because staying up‑to‑date with the latest coaching methods and technical skills directly benefits the paddlers and volunteers he works with throughout the year. He has returned with new ideas, fresh perspectives and useful learning from working alongside international coaches”. We’re proud to see Northern Ireland represented at an event like this and delighted that Mark has come back with knowledge and connections that will strengthen our local programmes and the wider paddlesport community. Our next series of progressive paddles will run from September, keep an eye on social media channels for details.
