Six Mile River Blockage

Paddle Northern Ireland have been alerted to tree blockages on the Six Mile River.

There are two tree blockages on the Six Mile River in two separate locations.


The first blockage is located between the wooden bridge above Kirbys Lane. Please click here for the location.


The second blockage is located on the Fish Ladder Weir.


This has been reported to the relevant authorities for removal. However, the trees are blocking a large amount of water so please take care when paddling in the meantime.
